Current Cravings 02

Hello and welcome, 2023! It feels a little counterintuitive to make my first post of the new year all about food when it’s truly 99% of people’s resolutions/goals/what have you. But, to be completely transparent, it’s always been one of my biggest new year changes too despite the fact I am merely drawn to that decision based on holiday eating rather than the usual bad habits I want to break. Nevertheless, I think the whole concept of diet culture and forcing habits and all that is a real f-ing bummer. As an Earth sign, I am drawn to the wonderful things about life including food. I am a pure foodie at heart and there is just no reason not to enjoy incredible meals that are not only delicious but nourishing at the same time.

So that, my friends, is why I decided to kick 2023 off in delicious fashion with some Current Cravings. All the recipes that have crossed my eyeballs lately that just look too good to go unmade. Now, if you’re resolving to be better with food, diet, workout more, whatever you chose, you can do it. Just remember to do what is best for you, have some grace for yourself if things go wrong, and, of course, you can always start again tomorrow.
