Recipe Roundup: Summer Cocktail O'Clock
It’s a pretty well-known fact I’m a wine lover. The Queen of Rosé even. And while it’s probably time for me to start putting together my summer rosé guide, it’s Memorial Day and I’m jonesing for a cocktail. What better way to usher in the unofficial start of summer?
I’m just one of those people who has to be in the mood for a cocktail in order to have one. I’m talking like day by the pool or visiting a trendy new cocktail bar where it would be absolutely weird for you to drink anything but. I always have the best intentions to make cocktails at home (you know putting my Ariana Madix cocktail book to good use), but never seem to do it. It’s just easier to open up the wine, right? Well, this summer is for L-I-V-I-N. Romanticizing our lives, getting extra fancy, and doin’ the damn things. So this recipe roundup is all the yummy cocktails (and a couple of treats that COULD be cocktails) we should all be making this summer.
