Where to Go and What to Wear in July

After a couple years of barely doing anything, much of the world is getting back to “normal.” Whatever normal is now. Either way that means getting out and doing stuff especially around town. July might be incredibly hot but there is plenty to do from 4th of July celebrations to regular BBQs and live music. It’s kinda hard to decide what to do and what to wear. So I’ve done the hard work for you and chosen a few things to do this July and just what to wear.

4th of JULY BBQ

Nothing says summer quite like a BBQ, especially on the 4th of July (even if celebrating “independence” is questionable right now). It’s the perfect occasion for a sundress, cute sandals, and a little sparkle.

SUNDAY NIGHT MOVIES AT THE WESTIN

Sunday nights this summer are all about the swim-in movies. Through September guests and locals of all ages can visit the Westin in Tempe for popcorn and a movie. This calls for the ideal summer outfit formula: one-piece swimsuit, denim shorts, and an on-trend tote for all the essentials.

DAY TRIP TO SEDONA

Escaping the extreme heat and heading up north is a no brainer. One of my favorite places to escape to is Sedona. There is a lot of hiking, shopping, and plenty of scenic places to visit.

FESTIVAL IN THE PARK

Whether it’s a 4th of July festival or just a weekend get-together in the park, comfort is the name of the game.

LIVE MUSIC

There is no shortage of great concerts and shows happening in town this month from Fleet Foxes to the Beyonce Ball.
