5 Best Recipes I've Made Lately

For a while, I just wasn’t into cooking. I mainly stuck to my usual weeknight go-to’s, but recently I’ve been begging to try new things. So whether it meant going into my cookbooks, whatever crossed my social feeds, or even searching out things I just really wanted to make (hello comfort food!), I just knew I had to get myself back in the kitchen. I mean, what good are all those food-related blog posts if I just never even try any of them? If you’re looking for something new and delicious to try, here are 5 of the BEST recipes I’ve tried lately.

Shepherd’s Pie

The weather has been a bit off this year and sometimes you just want a solid, delicious comfort food. This was the BEST shepherd’s pie I have ever made. It was flavorful, easy to make, and hit the spot perfectly. It will definitely be one of my colder weather go-tos’s in the future.

Burrata with Hot Honey on Ciabatta

I am obsessed with hot honey and the one I purchased at the grocery store on a whim has been put to good use - especially on toast. I made my version of this for a quick dinner. I switched out the cheese to one I had on hand, and it was still as delicious.

Italian Pasta Salad

I was gifted Magnolia Table Volume 3 for my birthday and this was one of the pages I instantly marked. I’m always on the hunt for meals I can eat over a couple of days, and this pasta salad was a great one. I made a few ingredient additions for personal preference, but the dressing was absolutely delicious. Will be making this again soon!

Caesar Pasta Salad

I love a good Caesar salad. It is one of my go-to summer dinners because it doesn’t require extra heat or a whole lot of cooking. To change things up I gave this a try and I was not disappointed. Definitely can’t wait to make it again over the next few months!
