What I'd Wear to Coachella

Just like with many other things, I have a love/hate relationship with Coachella. Despite saying that, when I did attend I had the time of my life. I would absolutely love to attend again but it just never worked out. That said, I attended the festival way back in the day when it was much less of a fashion spectacle. I’m talking about nearly peak Tumblr time. Think v-necks, denim cutoffs, sneakers, and fedoras. The quirkier the better. I may have loved the music and the experience, but the camping and the fashion were less than stellar. These days it can sometimes feel more about being seen there rather than actually being about the music. And I won't lie, seeing everyone's outfits always has me envious. I've just never gotten to fully embrace festival fashion since it wasn't really....a thing before. I think festival fashion is a true showcase of someone's personality and how they not only see the event but how they choose to represent themselves at it.

Of course, you still have the go-for-comfort types who rock sneakers and a basic tee. But on the other hand, you have the utterly ballsy barely-there girls which I fully support too. Go on with your bad self. But whether you're lounging around listening to music, doing a photoshoot in front of an utterly surreal art installation, or just hitting up the parties - you want to look your best. I may not be going, but this is what I would be pulling out of my suitcase.
