MIX NO. 59 // HOLIDAY CLASSICS
Christmassssss timeeeee is hereeeeee and that means another yearly playlist/mix/whatever you want to call it. Now my original idea of making a 90 minute playlist of varying covers of Jingle Bells was rudely shot down by my Instagram followers who I guess just didn’t get “it” or the wide array of covers available of just this one holiday classic, so I had to go back to the drawing board. And that is when it suddenly occurred to me…shut up and play the hits.
I will admit this was probably easier than any Monthly Mix I’ve done. Mainly because it’s holiday music and no matter what kind it is, it just helps make spirits bright and is fun and festive. Another reason is that holiday classics are just that - classics. So it’s really not that hard to choose some of the best of the best for a fun little playlist. Surely I have missed some, but that is what the Holiday Playlist Collection is for! Every playlist has something for everyone. This year’s playlist has a bunch of classics, some underrated favorites, and a couple of modern takes on all-time classics.
