How to Layer Dresses This Winter
When I saw people talking about layering dresses online I was instantly transported to the mid-2000s when, for whatever reason, we wore dresses over jeans. Something people have started to do again for yet another reason I don’t understand. But that isn’t really what I’m talking about here. I love a good midi dress. Midi dresses make getting ready so easy most days, but when the temperatures start to take a dip, we probably reach for them less and less. Truth be told, on my Instagram, knit midi dresses are still pretty heavy in my rotation, especially with tall boots for a little extra style and warmth.
I’m a pretty strong believer in being able to wear pieces multiple times if not just keep it in a solid rotation. So no matter what the style of dress, there are ways to make it warm and seasonally appropriate. There is a serious art to layering and runways from The Row to Chloé and Louis Vuitton all had outfits that brought seasonal layering of dresses to an incredible level. Sure, we all aren’t runway ready but here are 3 foolproof ways to bring your favorite midi dresses into winter.
