My Every Day Skincare Favorites

Over the past year, I’ve had more time to think about my skin and my skincare routine. I mean really what else is there to do? A lot of this analysis was brought on by maskne. Maskne is real, it sucks, and if you haven’t experienced it, you are incredibly lucky. Another reason I started looking at my skincare was TikTok. Lots of life hacks, advice, tips and tricks, and of course, some are much better than others.

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared my skincare “routine,” so I thought I would give it a go now. Some of these products were featured in my last post, but others are new and have completely changed my skin for the better. I do want to note SPF is not featured here because my makeup contains SPF so I typically don’t layer any more on top of that. It makes my skin way too oily. But if I am running errands sans makeup, going for a walk, or anything else outside, I always wear sunscreen.

Cleansers & Moisturizer:

  • Herbivore Pink Cloud Cleanser - I use this day or night but it depends on whether I’ve worn makeup that day. It smells great, lathers nicely, and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.

  • Versed Day Dissolve - I love how the balm makes removing my makeup easy even my mascara so I no longer have to wake up the next morning with smudges from mascara I missed. It makes my face feel so clean and I don’t have to worry about missing any makeup.

  • Blissed Drench & Quench Moisturizer - I found this moisturizer by accident when I ran out of another one and needed something similar. I use it almost daily. It doesn’t feel heavy and gets all of the dry spots on my face.

Oils & Serums:

  • Pacifica Glow Serum - I’m obsessed with this serum, how it looks in the bottle and on my face, and how it smells.

  • Versed Vacation Eyes - This eye gel gives my tired eyes a bright appearance which is often needed with restless nights and days spent looking at devices.

  • Sunday Riley’s Luna Sleep Oil - Up until now I have avoided using oil on my face for the fear of making it oily, but I was given another oil and it worked really well. I love this one and you shouldn’t fear it’s blue color. It becomes transluscent as you rub it on, and it has all of the necessary ingredients to tighten and calm my skin.

Tools + Lip Balm

  • ESARORA Ice Roller - I spend a few minutes ice rolling every morning. It helps de-puff my face, reduce any redness, and tightens my skin a smidge. It gives me a few minutes of relaxation and it works for headaches too!

  • Gold Sculpting Bar - I received a gold sculpting bar from my bestie for Christmas, and I have been using it almost daily to de-puff, stimulate blood flow, drainage, and, most importantly, relax my face muscles. I’m a serious jaw clencher and I have zero doubt by the time bedtime rolls around my face could use a serious break.

  • Saie Lip Balm - This is my go-to lip balm morning and night. It’s clean, makes my lips soft, and has a nice subtle tint for when you need one.
