My Quarantine Survival Guide

Right now there is another new normal to adjust to. Places are reopening and sometimes it feels all too strange because nothing has really changed all that much to begin with. At least not here in Arizona. Whether you agree or disagree with certain things, I must say at times it just seems easier to stick with the self-imposed isolation/quarantine to avoid others. There are just far too many people who seem to generally not care at all which is deeply saddening most days. But, at the very end of the day, the only person any of us can control is ourselves and the decisions we make.

That said, the last few months have been a pretty wild ride. It’s been an adjustment and a very unique experience to say the least. I feel like I had a bit of an edge because I am more introvert leaning than extrovert. Regardless, there were a few things that became essential to my life (and still kinda are for the most part) so I thought I would share them.

What’s On My Face

Unless I have a video call or Facetime, I try to keep my face as clear as possible. I use the face roller and firming serum and then toss on some mascara and clean lip balm.

My Workouts

Confession: I miss the gym more than I thought I would. Even though they are slowly reopening, I think I’ll just stick with workouts at home for now. Walking and even a little bit of Pilates, Yoga, or Barre is enough to set me up for the day.
