What I'm Listening To Volume 23
The beginning of a new year is usually slow when it comes to new releases, but this year I feel like I haven’t been able to keep up. Not even following all my favorite sources online seems to help. You know the whole adding things to bookmarks I know I damn well won’t check or liking posts I’ll inevitably forget about. Nevertheless, I managed to find time while editing some work photos to just absorb as much new music as my ears could handle before my headphones started to bother me. And thus a new edition of What I’m Listening To was born.
Over the last month or so there have been new releases from artists I haven’t heard from in a while which I was really excited about. I am enjoying all the different types of sounds everyone has. Some like mid-90s exports while others sound like they belong in the very opening scene of an 80s teen movie or some hipster-centric remake of Saturday Night Fever. I feel like the playlist is a bit long but I couldn’t cut it down. Not only because I enjoyed all the songs, but because I really need a longer playlist to get through some pretty excruciating work tasks right now.
