Style Profile: Lee Radziwill
Style profiles have always been one of my favorite blog posts to make, and when Lee Radziwill passed away last year, I knew she had to be one. Earlier on in the quarantine/self-isolation, I was on a streaming binge and stumbled upon Last Summer. Last Summer is a prequel documentary to Grey Gardens which features Lee and was intended to help the future documentary film makers of Grey Gardens. After viewing it, I knew I had to move her up the list.
Lee Radziwill is a socialite, the younger sister of Jackie Kennedy, a friend of Truman Capote, and an American Princess. No really, she married a Polish prince. She worked as an interior designer and PR executive, and was a life long New Yorker. She is well known for her taste in fashion and her home decor style.
What I love most about her style is how elegant, sophisticated, and timeless it is. She always looked classy and pulled together right through to her accessories no matter what the situation was. It’s a style that can really be pulled off now and that’s the true sign of a style icon. It transcends generations, and I am envious of her ability to look so fabulous all the time.
