The end of January feels a little bittersweet. On the one hand it feels like the past month has gone by pretty slow compared to recent months. But on the other hand, I can’t believe one month of 2019 is already over with. I have spent the majority of the last month trying to figure out what to do with my life. Not in the career sense or in any rush to make life altering changes, but more in trying to get my life together. I have organized nearly every room, cabinet, and space. I have thrown out or donated more things than I can count. And this weekend it appears I’ll be finally taking on my closet. This one always proves to be the most challenging.
At the end of every month I always wonder, cliche as it may be, where the time has gone. What have I been doing? And, most importantly, what the heck have I been putting off? It’s really, really easy for me to avoid things, thoughts, and especially feelings, when I throw myself into organizing and cleaning. Now that February is mere hours away and I have barely anything left to organize, I feel a little nervous about what is to come. Unlike many people, I do not at all find this prospect exciting. But, I’m sure you’re only reading this for one reason: fun stuff.
