I know ugly sweaters are all the rage. They have been for quite awhile, but what do you wear if you don’t want to rummage thrift stores for grandma sweaters? Holiday sweaters can be cute, but what do you wear if the holiday sweater isn’t the wardrobe appropriate option? Perhaps a company party or even New Years. There are two things that come to mind when it comes to holiday style: sequins and velvet. Nowadays you can even, conveniently, wear both at the same time! I must admit there are a few pieces here I would definitely venture to wear this holiday season. The best thing about sequins is that is is the right amount of sparkle you need for the holidays. Where velvet is warm and just looks interesting. It breaks up the monotony.
