Five Favorites: March

A few things I couldn’t get enough of in March:

Naked In Neon - Sun Street Passage

The first day it was genuinely nice outside I was ready to usher in the neon nail polish. I always start to feel like my mom when I am drawn to neons, but they are just so cool and not a lot of people are daring enough to go for it. I used these for my at-home pedicure and I’m obsessed with the color. I also have the neon green, and I love how long they last. The color definitely pops so it’s not for the faint of heart.

I’m Just Ken - At the Oscars!

I feel like, much to the detriment of everyone around me, I’ve been the biggest champion for I’m Just Ken as a song. If there was a fan club, I’d probably be the president. But why would you love the song about the male of the film when it’s all about the female vibes? Have you HEARD the lyrics to this gem? It’s incredible and points out how mediocre men truly can be yet dare to continue through life as though they aren’t. “I’m great at doing stuff.” Brilliant. It’s not really a surprise I loved the Oscar performance of it from all of the pink (that Gucci suit!!) to Slash, Wolfie Van Halen, and the other Kens. Absolute chef’s kiss.

Air Dry Cream

Everyone knows I hate blow-drying my hair. It’s time-consuming, the sound is irritating, and I can never seem to get it dry enough. I’ve tried other air dry creams and this one is by far the best. Everything Sun Bum does is brilliant and I love how it gives just the right amount of beachy texture without making my hair crunchy or greasy looking. It also smells awesome.

Sun Bum, $14

AB&J Parfait

In my quest to try and be more mindful of what I’m eating, I’ve started trying to put more effort into my meals. Sure, if you know me, you probably know I put a lot of thought into meals already, but when it comes to busy times, I tend to be more relaxed. For the past month or two, I’ve made the time to eat breakfast (omg) and my favorite thing to make lately is parfaits - of all kinds. This one I liked to call “You Better Like Apples.”

Ingredients: Coconut milk yogurt, pink lady apple, almond butter, maple cinnamon granola, and topped with cinnamon.

Statement Crop Top

Ugh, yet another crop top I don’t need but desperately want to add to my wardrobe. Just look at it! It’s fun, pretty unique, and a little sexy. I’m trying to be a whole lot more cautious with my spending, but this one might break my winning streak. Summer is just around the corner…

NBD, $128
