My Favorite Albums of 2021!
I can’t believe this year is over in a matter of hours, but a part of me is pretty thankful it is over. I almost didn’t make this list for 2021, but Instagram voted and here it is. I will admit much of my music listening happened while working which is why a lot of the choices are on the more chilled, ambient side of things. I wasn’t exactly bowled over by many of the releases this year and my music listening fluctuated quite a bit. When not working most of my listening was to my gym playlist. I also didn’t keep track of all the great songs I listened to over the span of the last 365 days, although I tried. I just don’t know if it was life that got in my way or the existential dread of a continuing pandemic that just kept me feeling pretty meh. There were highs and lows and, of course, I wish there were artists on this list that are missing however some of my favorites either broke up or just haven’t released new music. I hope 2022 is much better for a variety of things, but since you asked here are the albums I enjoyed this year.
As is the case with every year, the ranking doesn’t matter. The order was chosen by random draw, but they are all good albums. Each one features a selection for you to listen to. Enjoy and I hope you find something new to listen to!
