MIX NO. 38 // MEH & MOODY

When the world around all of us feels like a giant, sorry to use a played out phrase, dumpster fire, it’s easy to get in a funk. I’ve been in a serious one lately for a ton of reasons that just seemed to compound on top of each other endlessly. There are some who can just power through and seem fine. Boy, do I wish I was one of those people sometimes. Myself, on the other hand, is a real…shut down kinda person. But why am I mentioning this?

Because the theme of this month’s mix, which almost didn’t happen, is all about those moments when you want to do nothing but feel..moody. I, for one, always turn to melancholy and more indie-folk when I’m feeling down because it just fits. With all the fire haze and tolerable weather, I’ve gotten into fall mode much like everyone else. So this month’s mix fits both those themes. When you’re feeling down, want to relax, or just absorb those fall vibes.
