4 Destination Wardrobes For All the Places I Wish I Was Vacationing
4th of July is just a couple of days away. Everyone is packing up and going on vacation. Except for me. I'll likely end up watching a fireworks display, having a burger, and making some boozy popsicles. Not that those things don't sound fun, it's just I wish I was going on a vacation. I can't remember the last time I took a real vacation, but since I can't pack up and go, I thought I would dream about it instead. I picked 4 places I wish I could be right now plus what I would have to bring with me. And so this series of destination wardrobes was born. I picked a couple places I've never been before and one of my favorite places to go. Let's start with my classic: Los Angeles. I'm an LA Baby. Every year since I was born, California, mainly LA or the surrounding area, was our family vacation. My entire family is from there, so it's a no-brainer. It's the place I feel most at home. I even appreciate the traffic...sometimes. The style behind this is just California cool. So some trendy pieces and updated staples.
Next are the places I haven't been. Austin is a cool, fun city. I would love to visit my little bro and eat more tacos than anyone ever should. Plus its hip and there's plenty of music to check out. Next is Cape Cod. The Preppy Paradise as I call it. To me, it screams sailing and stripes. Something that would allow me to literally relax without a care in the world, enjoy ocean air, and, of course, embrace my Kennedy fantasy. Well, except that pesky curse thing...Last I chose Tulum. It's probably the trendiest place to go right now. Everyone wants to be seen there and so I couldn't pass it up. Not to mention it looks like a tropical paradise and every dream destination blog post needs a tropical paradise, right?
