Mixtape: Welcome Summer

It's Memorial Day Weekend. The unofficial kick off of summer. While I might have a love/hate relationship with the season, there's always one thing I can get behind: tunes. There's always some music playing somewhere which will remind me of the season for years to come. These stick with me years later and evoke memories long since gone and for that I'm incredibly appreciative.

Summer is always has a more naturally carefree feeling with a lot of relaxing. So when I set out to make a playlist I thought about songs that gave me chill vibes while driving or simply having a glass of wine at dusk. There are some current hits included because it's hard to escape them (might as well embrace them), and they bring a little familiarity.

Let's face it, this is better than the Yacht Rock mix I could have made....
