My Favorite Detox Drink
Everyone knows apple cider vinegar is one of the greatest things in the world, but ingesting it to reap the internal health benefits is rough. In addition to the benefits of apple cider vinegar, Cranberry juice flushes the kidneys of toxins. It's a nice addition to my morning when I'm feeling slightly sluggish.
Cranberry Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink:
1/4 cup pure cranberry juice (I use R. W. Knudsen Just Juice)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (stick with the OG Bragg's raw unfiltered, guys)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
honey to taste
filtered water
Combine cranberry juice, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice in a cup. Add honey to taste. Finish glass off with filtered water.
This drink is naturally tart due to the amount of acid involved so the honey is used to make it sweeter depending on individual taste. I'm a avid lemon lover, so I don't use very much. Obviously the more water added the more diluted the drink will become. As with any acidic drink, I recommend drinking it through a straw to protect tooth enamel.
