Q&A: What's In Your Gym Bag?
Long time, no talk, blog. Last few months have been a little..chaotic to say the least. A little bit of housekeeping to lead us off here. You’ll notice this entire website has a new look. After a bit of an experiment I made the blog the main home page once again. So now any time you type in the URL you’ll be getting just what you came for. I figured after a bit of an absence I’d go with a Q&A that just went unanswered until now. Aside from one thing I won’t even mention, going to the gym is a constant in my life. You’ll usually find me there 7 days a week trying to throughly escape the world for a couple of hours. Long gone are the days where I would casually hide all of my possessions (except valuable ones like my phone or wallet) all over my car. I finally embraced the world of gym lockers after much anxiety. That sounds weird, but the first time I ever dared even step foot in the locker room a woman had her entire life spread out across one bench and was treating the space like her personal bathroom! Complete with judg-y look like “how dare I” even come in there at that moment. Obviously I had missed her reservation for the entire morning…
But I digress. You ask and I answer. Here is everything I currently stuff into my little backpack (similar) on the daily when it comes to the gym.
Micro-fiber towel because no one likes looking sweaty
Hair ties that DON’T leave a dreaded crease
Dry shampoo so I can run errands and prevent a ponytail headache after hours of working out
Coconut chapstick
Headphones because I can’t be left to my own devices with tacky 80s music on the gym PA system
Protein bars or bites for afterwards
Reusable water bottle
Rollerball perfume since no one likes smelling like they just came from the gym
Face wipes to get rid of sweat, grime, and everything nasty
Deodorant. A second spray never hurt anybody
