My Summer Must Haves
I know, summer is canceled so why bother right?
When summer comes along I always have the best intentions of putting more effort into my style. After all, summer is usually the time where I’m more active and social. I love a good afternoon enjoying an ice-cold beer and a burrito downtown and catching an awesome live show afterward. But, alas that’s not the case this year, unfortunately (wear a damn mask!!). I digress, every summer I sort through trends and while I scoff at many, others I give a valiant effort for.
But when it really boils down to it there are 10 staples I return to constantly. Okay, maybe a couple more than 10 but these 10 can carry you through a self-isolated summer. Comfortable and basic but stylish pieces that can be worn inside, doing drive-up from Target, or whatever else you find yourself doing…socially distant of course. I mean…you’ll have to change out of sweatpants eventually. I know the struggle.
