My Current Skincare Routine

All my life I never really felt like I knew anything about beauty. I pretty much knew just about as much as anyone else reading magazines growing up. It hasn’t been until the last few years and the surplus of content has really made me much more informed and conscious of my choices. I am truly thankful for all the beauty content I have consumed because it has led me to some great brands and as a result, great skin. I am blessed to have a “young” looking face, but it is my goal to keep it that way for a long time. Or as long as I can anyway…

I tend to change products occasionally like trying a different moisturizer or adding in masks and other serums. I get professional Gua Sha done at my lymphatic drainage appointments, but other than that I don’t have any Botox, fillers, or any other cosmetic stuff done to my face. I see absolutely nothing wrong with any of that, but I haven’t quite taken the plunge just yet. I also wear a red light mask 3+ times a week before bed to wind down and reverse the negative impacts the environment can have on my skin. Working from home I wear less makeup these days but I still get breakouts from time to time - trust me. An acne patch can be your best friend!

I bet you’re here for specifics, so let’s get into it.

MORNING

EVENING

  • Face Wash - I’m sticking with my drugstore Cerave

  • Cleansing Balm - On days I do wear makeup I use the iconic Versed balm

  • Moisturizer - The Rhode Barrier Restore Cream is an essential

  • Retinol - I only use this a couple of times a week but Naturium has worked the best for me

  • Eye Cream - Pacifica’s Vegan Collagen

  • Body Lotion - To keep my skin moisturized and my tan in check I always apply moisturizer before bed. The Necessaire is my go-to.

  • Lip Mask - No one wants nasty lips in the morning so I use my Give them LaLa Skin coconut kisses before bed every night.
