Must Have Summer Sandals
It’s impossible to get through summer without sandals. Maybe they aren’t your main go-to, but every wardrobe should have at least one pair. If you’re like me, the second the temperatures started rising you started adding to a solid sandal collection. I feel like I have sandals for just about every occasion or summer outfit, and frankly, when it’s this hot how why on Earth do I need to put more thought into appropriate footwear? Being from Arizona, sandals are just kind of an essential you adapt to from birth. Whether you’re running to the mailbox, the pool, or going out into the world for an activity, you just kinda reach for sandals. There are a few central rules to follow too. No metal pieces cause you’re probably gonna burn yourself. Good materials that don’t let the hellish heat get to your feet. And lastly, my favorite rule is do not be tempted to buy those Old Navy flip-flops - you’re not in high school anymore! It’s time to stick to the big girl pairs. I envy anyone in the country or world that can just vibe with their sandals and the prettier the better because in the desert, that just isn’t an option.
