Let's Talk About...Quiet Luxury

Ah, another aesthetic trend enters the chat. Except, this one might be a bit more my style. Quiet Luxury is a whole vibe and a trend that has been reigning supreme for a bit now. It’s the opposite of the logomania that has been around for a couple of years now and is a minimalist dream. Quiet Luxury is all about expensive-looking wardrobe staples, no logos, and polished looks. Think of brands like The Row, Khaite, and Max Mara. As I said it’s a minimalist’s dream which means it’s not exactly a new concept. There has just been a greater focus placed on simple but high-quality items. Pieces that aren’t flashy or in your face, but rather simplicity and the idea of more investment pieces.

Quiet Luxury has skyrocketed into popularity recently because of Succession and, of course, Gwyneth’s courtroom style. It wasn’t just a meme, ya’ll. What I love about Quiet Luxury is that it’s an aesthetic that isn’t always about owning the more expensive or best things out there. It’s about exuding confidence with an effortless-looking appearance - despite people likely knowing you did put in the effort. You can pretty much pull off Quiet Luxury with really good basics and a mixture of high and low price points. I’m sure this aesthetic is going to be around for a while so here is some inspiration to get you started.
