About a week ago I was so freaking excited for spring. Sunny days and temperatures in the 70s every day. Then seemingly outta nowhere a winter storm brought the freeze back so it appears the sweaters aren’t going anywhere just yet. Sometimes it feels like there is nothing more comfortable and cozy then a knit sweater, you know what I mean?

Admittedly sweaters have had a pretty boring wrap over the years. Just a simple, plain winter basic. But every so often the fashion cycle breathes new life into these plain basics and kicks them up a notch. The trendiest of sweaters these days are filled with technicolor, oversized, or even have new life as undergarments and matching sets. Even textures have taken over these classic closet heroes. I think at the end of the day it’s all about how you style the sweater that makes the difference. Dressed up, down, or fashion forward there is a new way to bring these staples into your wardrobe.
