Recipe Roundup: Let's Have a BBQ!

The 4th of July is just about two weeks away and summer is fully in swing which means a whole lot more BBQs. What’s not to love about going to or hosting a BBQ for your family and friends? Okay, well maybe the stress of hosting one and coming up with a menu that covers all the bases. I love hanging out by the pool with friends and enjoying some delicious grilled foods - including snacks. There is just something so comforting and fun about it. When I was a kid we always had family members over for Sunday grilling and pool time and I think now as an adult that is a nostalgic memory that comes back when spending time with friends. The 4th of July is the optimal grilling time and is all anyone will be talking about leading up to the big day. Well, other than the cancellation of fireworks shows because of supply chain issues, ha.

Sidebar aside, there are so many yummy things to grill from burgers to steak and chicken. There are classics and new things begging to be tried. I still am desperately wanting to grill fruit, but just have’’t gotten around to it. So this Recipe Roundup is inspired by the summer tradition of cookouts, grills, and BBQs. It is filled with sides, drinks, desserts, and main courses that are going to wow, excite, and fill guests to the brim or will delight your host if you bring them along to an event you’re attending. It’s not like I need an excuse to look at yummy food.
