1 Item, 3 Ways: Leather Pants
When thinking about leather pants, one image comes to mind: That scene from Friends where Ross is struggling to deal with his leather pants. Well, and the 1980s, but the truth is leather pants are pretty damn cool. Probably cooler than most trends that come and go, at least in my humble opinion. I have been trying for over a year to find the perfect pair of leather pants. Finding leather leggings wasn’t difficult, but finding just the right pair of leather trousers is another story. Most of the time they would be sold out or I would just wait too long to decide just what fit would be right.
Going into fall and winter, leather pants are just sometimes better than jeans. They are versatile, much cooler, and add a fresh perspective to any outfit. Plus, in the cooler months, they are bound to keep you much warmer too. There is faux leather, earth-friendly options by Nanushka and Stella McCartney that feel as good and as quality as the real thing. If you’re not on a budget there are high-quality designer leather offerings out there from The Row and Khaite to satisfy your fix. But truly the best thing about leather pants, fake or not, is no matter what your personal style or fit preference is, there is a pair out there for you. I think just this past month there are about 4 pairs I’ve absolutely fallen in love with and need to grab ASAP.
