Interior Inspo: Styling Fireplaces
Growing up we had the coolest brick fireplace. Definitely a 70’s era brick fireplace from when the home was built, but still badass nonetheless. It didn’t really have a mantel but had this amazing surround where we kept the tools, our newspapers and magazines, and whatever toys were hanging around. Obviously living in Arizona we really only lit the fireplace on Christmas and maybe a handful of other days if we really wanted to. Despite that, I just love fireplaces. Even during the winter now I love the smell of someone burning them.
Unfortunately, I don’t get to decorate my mantle very much. Mainly because it’s where my television and other stuff hangs out. The way my living room is situated doesn’t really lend itself to a better television position. But if I did have a really cool, usable mantle you bet it would be chicly styled for every season. That hasn’t really stopped me from falling down a rabbit hole of design inspo so I’m here to share.
