The List: Dog Costumes

I won't lie; I love dressing up my dog. For whatever reason she loves it. On my Instagram you can find her in a rufferee costume, springtime cape, and her Halloween costume last year: pinata. Where normal dogs would be completely irritated and sad by being dressed in clothes many people believe they should not be wearing, Chloe loves it. She completely changes her personality and she begins to show them off to everyone who will look at it. I'm pretty positive she even has a dog model walk she's perfected since she was a puppy. Her little outfits have even gotten her (randomly) asked to make an appearance at  someone's Super Bowl party while on a walk in her rufferee costume.

Last Halloween she was a pinata which she loved for all of about 5 minutes. The costume was heavy and made of thick fabric so she wasn't a fan. It also had a hood that fell down on her tiny face making it hard for her to see. She still did her best to show it off to anyone who would look though. So why am I droning on and on about my dog? It's simple. Halloween is coming up and it's time to pick a new costume. I love a good dog costume despite 90% of the dogs in these photos looking miserable.

My two favorites here are the tarantula, Freddy Krueger, and the Pope. For whatever reason, I find the idea of my tiny chiweenie running around like a spider absolutely hilarious. Since she is 50% chihuahua, I think based on the image of the costume, she ould look so cute in as a horror movie villain. I love a good Pope, so it's really obvious why I would like this. I just don't think she will be willing to wear the Mitre for very long. I'm still very undecided on what she should be for Halloween, but I better make a decision fast.

SHOP: Freddy Krueger, Ewok, Pikachu, Cactus, Tarantula, Dinosaur, Pope, Pinata (similar to Chloe's)
