Gift Guide: Galentine's Day

Valentine's Day is next week, and I won't even sit here and pretend love is super great. In fact, for the first time in my life I actually hate the word love and everything it encompasses. I am no longer the starry-eyed, hopeful girl I once was. The truth is even when you try your hardest and give everything you have to someone else, it doesn't always work out. I'm not a Debbie Downer but it sucks to feel isolated, alone, and unimportant. So if you're lucky in love, please do tell me your secrets. 

Enter the greatest (television event) Galentine's Day. A day for celebrating the two best people who deserve gifts: my friends + myself. My friends are always there for me when I need them and listen to my ridiculous behavior and nonsensical thoughts. Plus we spend so much time together, it's hard not to love them. I also love myself...sometimes. Galentine's Day is the ultimate occasion to treat yo self. As they say, you can't love someone else until you fully love yourself...or whatever that quote says. Even if you don't have an S.O. to spend time with over the worst of greeting card holidays (only greeting card holiday?), you can always shower those closest to you with love.
