Trend Report: Metallics

There is a fine line between embracing the metallic trend and looking like an extra who just walked straight off the set of Zenon. Metallics are pretty daring because they are hard to pull off. You really only can wear one piece at a time and it must be the focal point of any look. So say hello to a whole lot of neutrals to pair it with.

But there is a bright side. Since metallic fabrics are all the rage, they are being used for nearly everything. Meaning its super easy to minimally add them into any wardrobe from shoes to bags and for the more daring that (super amazing) Zara jacket. The key to styling is one metallic item and everything else as simple as possible. My favorite pieces are the ones that are entirely subtle. Mainly because I am not daring enough to try anything too intense.
